Timbozini

Tim’s life has followed a restless, deliberately unconventional path shaped by curiosity, service, and creation.

Tim is a co-author of an in-progress fantasy fiction trilogy whose life has spanned military service, aerospace and blockchain technology, and ultimately a self-chosen nomadic existence after leaving behind a comfortable middle-class life. Impulsive, adventurous, and deeply curious, he is driven by creativity, problem-solving, and a belief in kindness, growth, and an underlying flow that connects all things—where opportunity favors those willing to keep moving and do the work.

    • Current:

      • Co-author of a fantasy fiction trilogy (in-progress)

    • Previous:

      • Ledger SAS, Technical Support Specialist, four years. Technical expert in crypto and blockchain technology (not a financial adviso..r).

      • Honeywell International, Aerospace Technician, six years. Repair and overhaul facility. Repaired HF transceivers and antenna couplers, with additional training in Traffic Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS) and weather radars (RDR-4000).

      • United States Air Force, Security Forces, six years. Base Defense, Alarm Monitor, SF Patrolman, Base Defense Operation Center (BDOC) Controller.

      • Other odd jobs: Reds Candies, ice cream scooper and candy maker. Some random car wash in Carson City, washing cars (you have to get ALL the bugs off). Door-to-door meat salesman, Craigslist ad (this one got weird fast. Well, immediately.). Nth Degree Mobility (Jeep lift-kit makers), warehouse work.

  • Socioeconomic Status: Most of life spent financially illiterate, drifting around and spending money as quickly as it came in. Went to school, got a good job, and slowly figured things out. Worked up to a cushy, solid middle-class life, realized how boring that was, then gave it all up to become a weird nomad van-person.

  • Education: USAF Security Forces Academy, Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering

Personality & Traits:

  • Personality Traits: Impulsive and adventurous. Outgoing introvert - loves to socialize but requires solo time afterward to unwind and recharge. Endless confidence, sometimes to a fault. Likes to fix things, thereby uncovering the secrets to how they work. Can be quick to anger, but normally even quicker to forgive and forget. Goes with the flow, unconcerned with what might be.

  • Strengths & Weaknesses:

    • Strengths: high electrical and mechanical aptitude, solving complex problems, following gut instincts, making quick decisions, reacting in tough situations, conveying complex ideas through written language, willingness to try just about anything.

    • Weaknesses: Courtney’s sad-face, frustration when things don’t go well which sometimes leads to anger and lashing out, nicotine, difficulty forming close relationships / allowing people to get too close, occasionally having a “do as I say, not as I do” mentality, knowing the foods that cause terrible gas but eating them anyway.

  • Motivations: discovering new knowledge, being useful to the herd, becoming better, creating, turning ideas into reality, being a net positive for the world, identifying and letting go of things that no longer serve.

  • Fears & Phobias: Being shackled, both literally and metaphorically. Stagnation. Becoming so comfortable with a familiar routine that the idea of changing things up feels terrifying. Growing weak in mind, body, or spirit. Losing the drive to continue growing and learning new things. Losing the spark that ignites the need to create. Losing loved ones.

  • Habits: Drinks at least two cups of coffee a day, black with a hearty dollop of honey. Listens to audiobooks late into the night, then complains about being tired the next day. Spends six or more hours staring at a blank page and thinking about the scene, then spews out 1,000 - 2000 words in a short burst. Obsesses over the power capacity and usage in the van. Cycles between the same two Columbia sweaters pretty much every day.

  • Likes & Dislikes:

    • Likes: writing, painting, other general art projects, hot coffee (never iced, not even on a hot day), reading/listening to a good book, raccoons, owls, other cute little critters, Netflix and chill with Courtney, being a nomad (Invictus), fixing things, building things, going on long walks, traveling, trying new foods, spending time with loved ones.

    • Dislikes: hot and humid weather, mosquitoes, pointless work, sunglasses, overly aggressive driving, the idea of being ‘set in your ways’ or thinking your ways are better than others’, airport security theater, being forced to use the wrong tool for the job.

  • Values & Beliefs: Knowledge and experience, which together create wisdom. Kindness as a baseline. Belief that there is a flow to the world which connects all things. A cosmic consciousness that drives everything from the growth of a leaf to the movement of galaxies through the cosmos. Understanding this flow in its entirety is impossible, however, merely accepting that it exists allows one to recognize patterns and identify opportunities when they arise. Some opportunities require work, sometimes hard work, and sometimes more work than the person believes themselves capable of giving. But for those who can ignore the negative voices in their heads and who are willing to put in the required work, the opportunities are endless.
