We are Courtney and Tim, just a couple of souls weaving together our unique experiences to co-create an epic story.
In 2025, we traded our full-time professions and our material possessions to answer a call from our hearts. For years, we have been collaborating to bring our shared magic world into reality, a project that has grown into something much greater than we could have possibly imagined. It became so important to us and brought us so much joy that we eventually decided to take a leap of faith that would allow us the time and space to focus on our creation. It was a terrifying, yet exhilarating, decision to leave behind the life we had built to embark on the quest of a lifetime. Though this path has not been without its challenges, now we get to spend our time doing what we love most. And on the journey to achieving our wildest dream of writing an epic fantasy series, we are making magic stories of our lives.
Tim McMillan
A restless, deliberately unconventional path shaped by curiosity, service, and creation.
Tim has never been one to stay in one place for long. From small towns in California and Nevada to military deployments overseas and years spent across the Pacific Northwest, his life has been shaped by adventure, curiosity, and a desire to keep growing. A veteran, engineer, problem-solver, and lifelong learner, he now spends his time co-writing fantasy fiction, traveling wherever the road leads, and turning big ideas into stories. His experiences have taught him that the best adventures begin with a willingness to step into the unknown.
Courtney Seto
A systems thinker with a poet’s heart, following inspiration wherever it leads.
Courtney is an idealistic explorer and tenacious problem-solver shaped by a multicultural upbringing and loving family in the PNW. With a background in engineering, most of her professional experience has involved helping navigate complex organizational challenges in local government and aerospace manufacturing. Courtney is now channeling her analytical mind and deep emotional sensitivity into co-authoring a fantasy fiction series that explores human potential, meaning, and connection. Guided by curiosity, intention, and trust in life’s unfolding, she goes wherever inspiration carries her. At her core, she is driven by a desire to experience and create joy, make the most of the gifts of life, and choose love over fear.
